Education Coordinator:
Head Start is looking to fill a full-time position in the East Bay area to work with children ages birth to 5. Support and supervise the teaching staff in multiple centers. Oversee development and implementation of appropriate curriculum, ensure classroom quality and monitor compliance with Head Start performance standards. Strong infant/toddler experience. Ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Rhode Island Dept. of Ed. PK-2 certification, familiarity with Rhode Island Early Learning Standards, experience supervising and training adults, and be able to work effectively with children, staff and families from diverse backgrounds.
