Where Warren Meets the Future: Environmental Anxiety Workshops

Residents joined Warren Health Equity Zone (HEZ) for a series of free Environmental Anxiety Workshops in November-December 2024. The workshops were led by environmental educators Kate Schapira from Brown University, and Adriana Buller from Newport Tree Conservancy. Participants were able to come together to discuss next steps for the town.

Warren residents mapped their “dream neighborhood” which included green spaces, bike paths, housing, and schools.

Warren residents examined projected sea level rise maps.

Presenters reviewed tree rating maps to discover where more trees could be planted in the future.
