East Bay Community Action Program’s (EBCAP) Health Center, located at the Sweetland Building, 610 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI is school-partnered and patient-centered.  The team of caring medical and behavioral health providers and staff work closely together to improve the health and well-being of the students and personnel of the East Providence School District.  Individuals do not have to be an existing EBCAP patient to benefit from the services provided at this location, rather it is an additional health service intended to improve access and help the school district strive for excellence in health and academics.

Medical – Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Behavioral Health – Monday- Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Existing patients may call us anytime! If you have questions regarding your healthcare or if you are not feeling well, please contact us. We provide 24 hour coverage for existing patients through our answering service.

Services Offered:

Services offered at this center are adolescent, child, and adult care, with a focus on the East Providence School District’s students and personnel.  Other services that are offered include walk-in care; assistance with applying for health insurance; wellness exams to assist students entering schools; immunizations for all ages; care for acute illness; health screenings; and general community education referrals.

Outpatient Behavioral Health services are also available to the students of East Providence. This location offers a solution focused brief therapy model, for individual therapy to youth ages 6 to17. 

Insurance Accepted:

Services are available regardless of your ability to pay, including for those who are uninsured or underinsured. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size*. In addition, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medical Assistance and other private insurances are also accepted. New patients are welcome.

*“Family size” includes all individuals living in a household related by birth, adoption or marriage. It also includes unrelated family members living in the same household who are supported by or are supporting a member of the family.
