HEZs
HEZs, an initiative of the Rhode Island Department of Health, are recognized as a national best practice in community health, and have proven to improve health outcomes, lower costs, create opportunities for community members. HEZs also develop community leadership, build civic engagement, and elevate grassroots power, empowering community members to help design their solutions. East Bay Community Action Program serves as the backbone agency for the Bristol, East Providence, and Warren HEZs.
