Meet our Family Visitors

Meet Kristen:
“As a family visitor, I work with families to offer support around their new parenting role. I provide them with a Growing Great Kids Curriculum that addresses all areas of child development and basic care, as well as connecting them to community resources. Seeing families have success when using the information that they have learned during our visits always motivates me. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know all of the wonderful families and my staff!”– Kristen Roache, Family Visitor & Supervisor, Healthy Families America

Meet Karey:
I have the privilege of supporting prenatal families and those with newborns by helping strengthen parent-child relationships, promoting healthy child development, and connecting families with community resources. One of my favorite parts of this role is witnessing a baby’s first milestone—there’s nothing quite like seeing the joy that it brings to a family. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the nurturing relationships that develop between parents and their little ones through positive parenting strategies and the guidance I’m able to offer.” – Karey Charpentier, Family Visitor, Healthy Families America

Meet Paola:
As a Family Visitor, I love supporting families through the different stages of parenting, building genuine relationships, and celebrating the little milestones along the way. One of my favorite memories was witnessing a baby take his first steps and sharing that special moment with his family. The best part of my job is watching families grow in confidence and knowing that having one supportive person to listen, encourage, and recognize their strengths can make a meaningful difference.”– Paola Valentin, Family Support Specialist, Healthy Families America

Meet Anita:
“As a Family Visitor, I feel honored to connect with and support families as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenting. I love helping parents recognize their strengths, build confidence, trust their instincts, and celebrate milestones along the way. Being welcomed into a family’s journey and sharing in their everyday moments is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I believe that when parents feel supported, encouraged, and empowered, both they and their children can grow with confidence.”– Anita DiMatteo, Family Support Specialist, Healthy Families America
